Below is a scanned copy of a signed letter I requested and received via fax from Michael McCowan, which I reprinted in my 1995 book, The Killing of Robert F. Kennedy: An Investigation of Motive, Means, and Opportunity--in which I concluded that Sirhan Sirhan murdered Senator Kennedy and acted alone. For the purpose of this online presentation, I deleted my fax number at the end of the first paragraph. Also, the handwritten notes in the second paragraph were made by McCowan at the time he signed this document.
This letter is central to a series of false charges leveled against me by Sirhan's apologists.
